Fiscal Specialist
Monitors a variety of fiscal management and control activities including balancing accounts, performing payroll activities, monitoring contracts and agreements and implementing accounting or auditing procedures. Prepares and maintains various financial/fiscal records, reports and maintains records. Assists in financial planning, policy development and performs various fiscal or non-fiscal related tasks as assigned by the Director.
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Completion of undergraduate major core coursework in accounting or finance or similar field of study preferred. Experience with multiple funded budgets and contract negotiations a plus. Knowledge of Microsoft Office products required. Valid Driver’s License required. Must successfully pass background check.
$21.11 per hour. Residential Counselor
Make a difference for at-risk youth!
Michael’s Resource and Treatment Center is looking for compassionate individuals to work 2nd shift with at-risk adolescent boys. Residential Counselors provide direct care to the youth we serve as well as implement evidence-based programming to promote behavior modification over time.
Michael’s Resource and Treatment Center is a division of Darke County Job and Family Services. MRTC is a trauma informed residential facility for males between the ages of 10-17 who are referred due to disruptive and delinquent behaviors. MRTC provides youth and their families individualized treatment to assist in stabilization as well as addressing underlying causes of high-risk behaviors.
A High School Diploma is required and applicants must be 21 years of age. A degree in social work, psychology, sociology, or a related field preferred. Alternatively, a combination of education, training, and experience is desired. Individuals will need to successfully pass a background check and drug screen.
